Beauty is a universal language, and Italians know beauty. After all, Italy is the birthplace of the Renaissance. I think they must know a thing or two about timing as well. At least this woman did.
I was at Piazza Farnese, enjoying a Spritz and listening to the street musicians. Three women sat at the next table and the woman in the photo was one of them. She was carrying an especially nice Italian leather handbag and I could not resist commenting on it. The conversation took off from there as women love to talk fashion and beauty. When she realized I am a professional makeup artist, she began asking me for tips. Next thing I knew, she pulled her cosmetics bag from her purse, and asked me to give her a lesson on the spot.
I enjoy teaching women how to use the tools they have and enhance their features. I don’t have a regular teaching schedule however, if you’ll rent a studio for me in Piazza Farnese, I promise you, I’ll be there.
I’d like reading your story, Thanks for sharing!….hmmmm…Rome!
